"Surviving Bundy with Nancy Grace" (2021 Fox documentary)

I've recorded the documentary "Surviving Bundy With Nancy Grace", which aired on Fox in October, and I’ve uploaded it to my Internet Archive channel: https://archive.org/details/surviving-bundy-with-nancy-grace Fellow researcher Julia Larina told me about it. The documentary features interviews with Karen Sparks, Karen Chandler and Cheryl Thomas, who offer their perspective on surviving a murder attempt and their injuries. Karen Sparks, for instance, who had head injuries after Bundy left her for dead, talks about her aphasia (a condition which affected her speech and understanding, her ability to read and talk), and how she needed to relearn the alphabet, basically. Aphasia's severity depends largely on the extent of the brain damage, and people affected by it relearn and practice language skills or learn to use other ways to communicate. The documentary is interesting, but reporter Nancy Grace (formerly a prosecutor in a local district attorney's off...

"Murder! Did Ted Bundy kill 36 young women and will he go free?" (Rolling Stone article, December 14, 1978)

An article published in Rolling Stone on Dec. 14, 1978, titled "Murder! Did Ted Bundy kill 36 young women and will he go free?", was sent to me by an archivist at Brigham Young University. I have uploaded it to my Internet Archive channel: https://archive.org/details/article-about-ted-bundy-published-in-rolling-stone-december-14-1978/page/n13/mode/2up The author of the article used a pseudonym for Elizabeth Kloepfer ("Ruth Arista"). The article was republished, with slight differences, in The Orlando Sentinel of Dec. 24, 1978, and was digitized by newspapers.com.

Episode “Fatal Compulsion” for the 1997 Discovery Channel Television show “The New Detectives”, featuring a segment about Ted Bundy

The episode “Fatal Compulsion” for the Discovery Channel Television show “The New Detectives”, aired in the US on December 2, 1997, directed by Mike Sinclair , has just been uploaded to my Youtube channel, courtesy of Julia Larina who found it and recorded it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_pqccRBvok “ The New Detectives” is an American docudrama, where world-renowned forensics experts and criminal investigators solve a wide range of cases. Forensic psychologists delve into the minds of Ted Bundy, Paul Bernardo and Aileen Wuornos, trying to determine their motives, where their “fatal compulsions” stem from, and forensics experts and criminal investigators explain how they solved the cases. Detectives show what forensic techniques and clever investigating have done to bring Ted Bundy, Paul Bernardo and Aileen Wuornos to justice. FBI analyst Bill Hagmaier, odontologist Richard Souviron and true crime author Ann Rule are seen in interviews talking about Bundy. As Bundy sat on Fl...

Evan Lewis' psychological evaluation of Ted Bundy

I am now sharing also on my archive.org channel the March 8, 1976 psychological evaluation of Bundy ordered by the State or Utah and made by Dr. Evan Lewis (counseling psychologist): https://archive.org/details/evan-lewiss-psychological-evaluation-of-ted-bundy The scanned file was given to me by Judge Stewart Hanson's grandson, Sean Papanikolas, on October 17, 2019, and since then I have been sharing it publicly on Facebook, in my public group "Denying a fair trial: the case of Ted Bundy".  Bundy was charged with attempted murder and kidnap in the aborted 1974 abduction of Carol DaRonch, and  Judge Hanson was the one who sentenced Bundy in the DaRonch case.   Dr. Evan Lewis's    evaluation was made in the Salt Lake County jail in Salt Lake City after Bundy had been convicted of aggravated kidnapping. Lewis determined that Bundy was, intellectually, “in the highest 10% of the population. His verbal skills are very well developed, Mr. Bundy being able to exp...

Closing statements in the 1979 Chi Omega trial

The closing arguments  were the height of the Chi Omega trial. The defense lawyer and the prosecutor  each delivered an emotional plea for justice. Footage of their closing arguments was recorded by fellow researcher Julia Larina and can be watched for free on my archive.org channel at these links: https://archive.org/details/bandicam-2021-10-02-17-46-31-793 https://archive.org/details/bandicam-2021-10-04-19-25-56-997 And you may be also interested to watch footage of Ted Bundy addressing Judge Edward Cowart, during the Chi Omega trial, about not being able to make decisions in his case:  https://archive.org/details/img-6850 In this speech, Bundy is seen addressing the behavior of his attorneys, which was one of avoiding him and avoiding his input in the case. He claimed he was no longer allowed to make any significant input into the Chi Omega case. He had been denied the ability to make decisions as to who would do opening statements and who would do closing argumen...
